Layers of red and blackberry fruit, with a very concentrated, rich mid-palate that follows through on a very long aftertaste.
The name ‘King and I’ refers to the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, King of red grapes, and Merlot. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this blend, are hand-selected from the top section of the Granietbult vineyard, and the Merlot comes from the Verlatenkloof bush vines, established in 1990.
