The wine shows a healthy dark-ruby/purple colour and the bouquet offersat first generous red cherry, violet, grenadine and strawberry flavours.
This Pinotage shows remarkable evolution in aroma and palate while being stirred and freshly picked black plum, graphite, black olives and well integrated spicy flavours can be experienced after the wine patiently waited in the glass for a short while.
Like the previous vintage, it’s an elegant style of Pinotage and again more fruit driven, due to the Stellenbosch influence.
Yet it is full throttle as well as subtle and smooth. In addition it’s a medium bodied wine with a dense, pure and wonderful acidity.
A satisfying satin-texture finishes this wine which can be drunk over the next 8 years.
